Filters needed - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Nature - Rust
Simple - Top Left Mirror
Supplies - background image - annesska-ol.pspimage, Floral tube - Thaiss-H-Flower_9.pspimage, my selection file - annesska-oriental-leaves-1.pspselection, leaves animation - leaves.gif
Download supplies **Here**
Save the selection file to your Selections folder, save the leaves.gif to folder of your choice to use in animation shop. Open the background image and tube in psp.
Open the annesska-bg-ol image
Layers, Duplicate
Effects, Plug Ins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Nature - Rust
Click on settings and choose Large Gold Flakes, No Streaks then use the settings below
Layers, New raster layer
Selections, Load selection from disk. In the dropdown menu choose annesska-oriental-leaves-1
Floodfill with #d5ae94
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen More
Select None
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow 1, 1, 100, 1, Black
Lower opacity to 34
Click on the Thaiss H-flower_9 tube
Edit, Copy
On your working image, Edit, Paste as a new layer
Image, Resize 80% bicubic, all layers unchecked
Move down slightly and to the right
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow 3, 3, 64, 10.14, Black
Layers Duplicate
Effects, Photo Effects, Sepia Toning, 100
In Layers palette, Lower Opacity to 40
Layers, Merge Visible
Image, Resize, 85% bicubic, All layers unchecked
With the magic wand click in the transparent space
Floodfill with black
Effects, Texture Effects, Weave, Settings below
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen More
Effects, Plug Ins, Simple, Top Left Mirror
Select None
Image, Add borders, 4, symmetric, #9a4839
You can save as a jpg and finish now or carry on and animate it.
To animate -
In PSP
Edit, copy
Open animation shop
Edit, Paste as a new animation
Edit, duplicate, until you have 12 frames
Edit, Select all, Animation, Frame Properties, 25
File, Open the leaves animation
Edit, Click on the first frame, Edit,Select all
Now click on Propagate paste
On the first frame, with the mouse, left click where shown below, and hold down
Drag onto the first frame of your main image, as indicated below, and release the left mouse button
The leaves should be on all of the frames now
Animation, Resize animation, 80%
View, Animation and if it looks okay, save as a gif.
